Item Description: Set of 4 vintage National 14" wheel covers. Part no. C-61 for 1959 Chevrolet or Universal 14". Found in their original box and they appear to be unused, but with some minor condition issues. Note that these look fantastic as a whole - the chrome is exceptional on all - but I'll do my best to describe even the most miniscule details of each one. Hub cap numbers (below) do not correspond to any particular order.Hub cap #1: Minor paint loss on double flags; 2 very tiny dings on center, 3 tiny dings around outer edge, slight crimping in 3 places on back rim/edge Hub cap #2: Few dings/crimped areas around back edge Hub cap #3: 2 dings along front edge, few dings/crimped areas around back edge Hub cap #4: Minor paint loss on double flags and red squares, 3 scratches around outer edge, few dings/crimped areas around back edge Again, the chrome looks fantastic as-is and would probably look perfect is gone over with fine steel wool. Paint is chipped in a few places and doesn't always fill the shape or overlaps the shape boundary. The paint is original and like this from the factory, as far as I can tell. Please see enlarged photos above for most accurate description. All are taken are high resolution. The original box is in poor condition and I would prefer to ship without the original box. Auctioned Chevy Trax provides Man Utd charity boost
Mon, 11 Nov 2013A CHEVROLET Trax that had been autographed by the 2012/13 Premier League-winning Manchester United team has helped raise more than £17,500 for charity. The car, bearing signatures from players including Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand, sold via an eBay auction for £14,301 as part of a wider auction of Manchester United memorabilia donated by Chevrolet. The money will go to the Manchester United Foundation to support its Ability Counts football programme, which offers disabled people the opportunity to play or coach with Manchester United and has more than 150 players aged from eight to 40 years old.

Bahrain Grand Prix (2013) RESULT
Sun, 21 Apr 2013Nico Rosberg put in a cracking lap in qualifying for the 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix to take pole position, but the Mercedes did look like it might have problems with tyre degradation in the race. With Sebastian Vettel lurking alongside and Fernando Alonso right behind, it was a big ask for the German to turn his pole position in to a win, and so it transpired. Alonso managed to briefly get past Vettel at the start of the race, but Vettel soon got his second place back and within a couple of laps had taken Rosberg for the lead.
