The SCOUT PA3 is a UV inhibited strong four way ratchet
mount for marine antennas. This mount can be used for Scout Antenna’s or any
other brand as they are all universal in size and fit with a 1” x 14 threading
with a base plate size of 3 3/4” x 2 3/4”. Mount is intended for deck or side
mounting in all outdoor applications including marine boats, RV’s, and campers.
The action to loosen and tighten the ratchet is smooth and quick. It comes
packaged with stainless steel nuts bolts, washers, and a shock absorbing foam
back plate. Just like all our products, this is the highest quality available
made with the highest quality materials in our second generation family owned
factory located in Modena Italy not far from where Ferrari, Maserati, and
Lamborghini are built . Miami Boat Gear is the official Installation of mount instructions: Place mount in desired location, mark with pencil where to drill holes. If drilling in gel coat, use in reverse until you pass the gel coat to prevent chipping. Place screws and attach included washers and nuts to the underside to secure. Wiring Installation instructions: mount antenna and trim cable if desired. Slice the outer rubber sleeve about 1 inch from the tip of the cable. Pull down the high quality tinned copper braid shielding found inside. slice the plastic sleeve ½ inch from the tip to expose the copper core ½ inches. Screw in the PL 259 or generic RG 58 male connector. The copper core must be trimmed at the tip and soldered to the RG58 connector to guarantee a good connection and function. UPC:

Toyota recalls Lexus cars for fuel-system fixes
Wed, 26 Jan 2011Toyota Motor Corp., struggling to restore its reputation for top quality, on Wednesday recalled nearly 1.7 million vehicles globally for a variety of fuel system related problems, including 245,000 Lexus IS and Lexus GS sedans in the United States. The North American vehicles are being called back to inspect for possibly faulty installation of fuel pressure sensors. In cases where the sensor is not fastened tightly enough, fuel can leak between the gasket that connects the sensor to the fuel delivery pipes, Toyota said.
