Auto Part:

When it comes to safety there are no compromises. That's why we are offering a complete set of hoses and wheel cylinders for your collector car or truck. Years of use or years of storage both take a toll on hydraulic brake system components. This can result in uneven braking, leaks and frozen wheel cylinders, and ultimately an underperforming brake system.

The braking system is the most important safety system on your car and these new parts will restore braking, reliability and safety to original standards.

Our new, precision-cast and machined wheel cylinders are fitted with new boot and cups to restore new car braking for safe, confident stops. And the new hoses replace your old, worn or cracked hoses to give you many years and tens of thousands of miles of worry-free driving enjoyment.

Driving old cars is fun, and that's what the old car hobby is about. The peace of mind that a restored hydraulic system gives you is priceless.

Buy a set of wheel cylinders and hoses today. Uou and your car will be glad you did.

NO Jaguar SUV says Ian Callum

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

NO Jaguar SUV says Ian Callum Jaguar design boss Ian Callum has stated that Jaguar are NOT planning an SUV but could build a crossover. Ever since Jaguar’s Brand Director Adrian Hallmark said that Jaguar needed a crossover there’s been much speculation (from Cars UK just as much as elsewhere, we confess) that a Jaguar SUV is in the planning, despite Land Rover’s pre-eminence in the field. But it looks like we should have listened more carefully to Adrian Hallmark, who actually said Jaguar “…need a crossover and we need to stop being a saloon-based company.” We all leapt on the ‘stop being a saloon-based company’ bit as confirmation an SUV is planned when Adrian actually meant a crossover and not a full-blown SUV.

New fuel-economy labels will baffle buyers, survey says

Wed, 06 Oct 2010

A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.
