It's a 402 big block, it came out of 1971 SS chevelle. It's the 300 HP / 400 TQ version. Engine NOT locked up. Needs rebuilt due to knocking in the bottom end. The distributor seen in pictures sold separate.

New 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-class features more power, enhanced fuel economy

In the United States, the 2012 M-class will be offered beginning with two models -- the gasoline ML350 V-6 and the ML350 Bluetec diesel. Both models will feature four-wheel drive.
