 Professionally rebuilt 1965 409 high horsepower engine with casting number of 3857656   .  Has factory dual quad intake manifold sealed on it with casting number 3814881.  Ross forged .030 pistons on 409 rods.  All new clevite bearings. Crank is stock forged unit and turned .010 under.  Heads are all rebuilt with all new parts and casting number 3814690 dated september 1964 I believe.  New oil pump and shaft, new correct 409 timing cover, new correct 409 harmonic damper, timing chain.  Has a solid Crane cam with specs close to the Z-11 grind. Chromoly  pushrods and Dove full roller rockers 1.7 ratio.  All new ARP bolts also.  Bored and balanced completely.  Comes with rechromed valve covers. Flywheel resurfaced with new Hays clutch and pressure plate.

Nissan coaxed another 15 hp from the twin-turbo V6 in the 2013 GT-R sports car, and added nearly $7,000 to the sticker price. The 2013 Nissan GT-R Premium, which is reaching dealerships now, carries a sticker price of $97,820, including the $1,000 in shipping charges. That's a $6,870 bump over the 2012 model.

Noted car collectors Sam and Emily Mann won their fourth Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Best in Show award with a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster (with covered spare). This car is one of only three known to have been built. Originally shipped to the German embassy in Argentina, the Manns have owned the car for about 18 years.

BMW MegaCity - Range Extender option A year ago, when BMW revealed the BMW Concept ActiveE 1-Series in Detroit we had a big old press release. And inside that press release was the small gem that the MegaCity part of BMW’s project-i would include drivetrains other than electric. We’re not sure BMW ever said that its MegaCity cars would be all electric, although we’re probably not alone in having assumed that.
