Thu, 08 Dec 2011And over on the Rinspeed stand at the 2012 Geneva motor show, you can expect to see the new Rinspeed Dock + Go, a Smart Fortwo with a new mobility concept. It adds a bespoke trailer to the Smart city car, letting customers drive into town two-up in the regular Smart, or go on a longer journey to the seaside with all the clobber (for two, no families allowed – unless the children can be flatpacked into the boot) stuffed into the trailer. BMW unveils its 2012 Olympic Games pavilion
Tue, 07 Feb 2012BMW has unveiled its new pavilion for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The winning design came from British architects Serie after bids from six companies. As the sole automotive sponsor, BMW is allowed to build a pavilion at the Olympic Park during the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games and it expects to draw 8000 visitors a day.
New Jeep Cherokee: New York Auto Show 2013
Wed, 27 Mar 2013The new Jeep Cherokee has its official public debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show today with 9-speed gearbox and based on a Fiat platform. Now, with the New York Auto Show about to kick off (which you might reasonably have thought was yesterday after the flurry of activity from Jaguar and Land Rover) we get a full set of photos of the Cherokee and specifications. The new Cherokee sits on the Chrysler/Fiat Compact US Wide platform which gets independent front and rear suspension which, say Jeep, offers great on-road dynamics without sacrificing off-road ability and comes with a 9-speed auto box and a choice – at least in the US – of 184bhp 2.4 litre 4-cylinder or 271bhp 3.2 litre Pentastar V6.
