426 Max Wedge stage 1 motor, mostly original with authentic parts and correct for a 1963 Dodge or Plymouth. The heads are original stage 1 MW 2402286 (7-12 & 7-17), cross ram intake is original stage 1 MW with small throttle bores 2402726-1, carburetors are excellent Carter 3447’s dated C3 for a stage 1 MW engine, Prestolite 2098582 distributor, reproduction air cleaners and throttle linkage, excellent 4 bolt MW valve covers, solid lifter cam, and original MW exhaust manifolds 2402336-1 & 2402334-1. The block is a 74’ date coded 440 with flat top pistons that was stamped with a 426 high compression assembly date and code. This engine is on a stand and running. It sounds excellent without any issues, and you are welcome to do an onsite inspection. The distributor, fuel pump, water pump housing, anternator, pulleys and manifolds on the test stand are not included (non-max wedge and just for start-up), but the original manifolds and distributor are included. Delivery to Chryslers at Carlisle is possible, or the location is 85 miles away if you want to pick-up in Centre Hall, PA. This is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end at any time. Underlining the importance of this event to the automotive industry, and the importance and weight the automotive field now carries in the consumer electronics sphere, Alan Mulally – President and CEO of Ford motor company – was part of a three-person panel exploring how companies innovate, cope with failure and the relentless pace of change in the electronics world.
