440 Mopar Hp 1970 Road Runner Rh Exhaust Manifold on 2040-parts.com
Cave Creek, Arizona, United States
This is a RH passenger side exhaust manifold from a 1970 Road Runner. It is in like new condition from an Arizona car with zero rust pitting. It has been Jet Hot Coated and is in fine condition with just some shelf wear on the edges. It is shiny silver which looks great, but I would rather see a cast blast color. It has been used for years, again in the extreme desert heat and you can see no discoloration of the coating at all. The numbers are clearly visible. The heat riser shaft moves but the flapper valve has been removed. I have its mate on another auction.
We built an autocross car with a 5.7 Hemi and I will be listing a bunch of parts from this Road Runner. I am listing this as local pickup only, but I can ship it anywhere at actual shipping cost. |

Top 5 most important cars at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013The five most important memorable cars in attendance at the world’s biggest motor show Nothing is as controversial as irritating your core enthusiasts, and the Audi Sport Quattro concept risks doing just that. Its name and styling riff off one of the most iconic cars in Audi’s back catalogue – and in WRC history – yet the new yellow version unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show has abandoned the five-cylinder engine, manual gearbox, and respectable kerbweight of the 2010 Quattro concept. In its place, we’ve an RS7-based coupe with the power of a Lamborghini Aventador (691bhp), twice the claimed economy of a Golf GTD (113mpg), but only because of a twin-turbo V8 mated to a hefty hybrid powertrain, and that means this new Sport Quattro weighs as much as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1845kg).
Land Rover Defender Challenge by Bowler – the Defender goes rallying
Thu, 31 Oct 2013The Land Rover Defender goes rallying (pictured) with Bowler modifications The venerable Land Rover Defender – now reaching the end of its shelf life – may not seem the perfect rally car. But a Defender tweaked and fettled with some Bowler Fairy Dust is another matter, and that’s exactly what’s happening with a new, one-make Defender Challenge by Bowler – and backed by Land Rover – which is aiming to put up to fifteen Defenders in to UK forest stage rallies and hill rallies in 2014. The Defender in question is a Defender 90 Hard Top with the usual 2.2 litre diesel, but sorted by Bowler to deliver 170bhp and 323lb/ft of torque (up from the regular 122bhp/266lb/ft) with a standard six-speed manual ‘box, MSA roll cage, fire extinguisher and Khumo tyres.
Land Rover Range_e: Walks on water. Apparently.
Wed, 02 Mar 2011Land Rover Range_e - Walks on water What can you do when you’re a resurgent maker of high-end off-roaders in an age when the world expects nothing but fresh air to come from exhaust pipes? Simple – you play the hybrid game. Unlike Jaguar – who are going the range extender route with their hybrid cars – Land Rover are opting for the traditional hybrid route, either as a plug-in or a regular Prius-like hybrid setup.
