I ordered this 46mm 3/4 Drive 6-point Socket from Tuner Autosports to replace a Front Hub on my 2003 BMW.   I have attached the table of cars this tool is used for.   I will also Add a 1/2 to 3/4 adapter so your 1/2 tools will work.  This is a must for replacing front Wheel Bearings.   I used it once, well twice, once to loosen and once to tighten.   My thought is I would use and then pass this on at a slight discount.   Original price was $68.00 and the adapter was 8.00.   I am selling both for $60.00.   This is an easy job, and the right tool is the way to go.  Note:  This I a 6 point socket.   Some impact and 12 pt sockets will not fit the hub nut correctly.
Commonly used for the removal and installation of front wheel bearings on many BMWs. This socket works with the wheel bearing nut with BMW part number 31 21 1 128 336 -- used with the following front wheel bearings:

GM throttles back on performance cars for 2010

Fri, 08 May 2009

It should not be a surprise, as General Motors scrambles to cut costs and cars sit unsold on dealers' lots, that the automaker is cutting high-performance versions of several vehicles for the 2010 model year. According to information from online ordering guides made available to GM dealers, the 2009 model year is the last for the Chevrolet Impala SS, the Pontiac G6 GXP and the Cadillac STS-V. Also, the SS trim in the Chevy Cobalt lineup will be limited to the coupe body style.

Ford technology could recognise your face

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

Does your car know who’s driving it? It may do in the future – as Ford is working on technology that can recognise your face. The carmaker has teamed up with technology experts Intel to use sensors inside the car that can identify individual people, and adapt settings to that driver’s preferences.

Drivers unmoved by electric cars

Thu, 28 Nov 2013

SUPPORT for electric cars appears to be failing to spark off real interest from drivers, according to a survey of more than 3,000 motorists. Only 1% of UK drivers own an alternative fuel vehicle (AFV), while CO2 emissions are at the bottom of the checklist when Britons are shopping for a new car, the poll by Auto Trader found. Since January 2011, motorists have been eligible for up to £5,000 upfront cost relief on the purchase of a new electric vehicle but the survey showed that 35% of drivers were unaware of this grant.
