Jaguar SUV: The rendering begins
Sun, 31 Jul 2011Jaguar SUV - two alternative views So we know that a Jaguar SUV is going to happen. We know because Adrian Hallmark – Jaguar’s vocal and opinionated Global Brand Director – said back in December that Jaguar “…need a crossover and we need to stop being a saloon-based company.” And although Adrian has sometimes managed to speak without engaging brain first, what he says should be taken seriously – even if there are perhaps those at JLR who would rather there was a 3 second live delay on Adrian’s musings at times. Geneva Show 2014: Renegade Is Anything But Rough And Ready

With Jeep now part of the Fiat family, it’s no surprise to learn that the Renegade is based on the Italian firm’s 500L. The diminutive Renegade is, however, expected to remain true to the Jeep brand thanks to off-road versions complete with all-wheel drive, skid plates and raised ride height.
Jaguar sports hatch is inspired by R-D6 concept
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Jaguar plans to add a dramatically styled sports-hatch model to its lineup beginning in 2014. To be priced from about $60,000, the sports hatch on the drawing board was inspired by the R-D6 concept first shown at the 2003 Frankfurt motor show. The R-D6 design, which had been considered an ill fit for the brand's traditional sedan/sports-car image, is now gaining support at the highest levels of the company as it forges an independent future under Indian owner Tata.
