Lamborghini Reventon Roadster – First customer car

We broke the news that Lamborghini were planning a roofless version of the Reventon Coupe back in March, and apart from the fact that no one believed our ‘Scoop’ – and we had Lamborghini on the phone asking us to retract the story – we were sure the information we had was real. So it was more than a little gratifying when were able to report that Lamborghini were doing a private reveal of the Reventon Roadster in July and finally the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
New version of Sync turns car into mobile wireless hotspot
Mon, 21 Dec 2009The next generation of Ford's Sync system will turn the car into a wireless connection hotspot. The wireless Internet connection is active when a cellular wireless card, also known as an air card, is plugged into the car's USB port. The connection can than be accessed by wireless devices in the car, such as a laptop computer or a handheld device.
Four in 10 'can't read maps'
Wed, 13 Aug 2014ALMOST four in 10 drivers don't know how to read a traditional map, according to new research by sat-nav manufacturer Garmin. A study of 2,000 Brits revealed that 39% admit to not knowing what they're doing with old-fashioned navigation, but the true figure could well be higher than that when taking into account those who believe they can read a map but have either never tried or never proved it. A worrying 16% say that they are 'heavily reliant' on sat-nav in their cars in order to get anywhere – even to places they regularly visit.
