If warranty service is needed during the warranty period, the customer should contact the manufacturer, Schauer Battery Charger Company, to get information on how to send the charger in for repair. The customer will be responsible for shipping to Schauer and Schauer will pay shipping for returning the charger to the customer inside the US. Customers outside the US will have to pay for shipping both ways for warranty service.
RETURNS: Ebay now requires sellers to state a return policy. The only options are to state "Returns Accepted" or Returns Not Accepted". Well, we had to change to "Returns Not Accepted" because of abuse of the return policy. Over the years, we have had few returns and in most cases, a simple phone call solved the problem with an explanation of how the product worked. We still have a liberal return policy, but there are some qualifications on that policy. For instance, just sending the product back without any prior communication is not acceptable. Ordering a battery charger to check to see if your old one is really bad or the problem is somewhere else, with plans to return the new charger is not acceptable. Most questions about whether the charger is the right one for your use can be worked out in advance before the purchase. If you need more information about our products, you can call me at 479-967-1542.

Video: Chris Bangle delivers “Empowerment: Design without Designers” talk at Creative Mornings/London
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up. His presentation (which you can watch in full in the video to the left) touched on his time at BMW, but was more focused on the idea of empowering others to create: "design without you in the middle", as Bangle says. From the story of the co-creation of the staircase in his Italian studio to the idea of encouraging people to think about their culture when designing, his philosophies transcend disciplines.
