48 Volt Golf Cart Club Car Battery Charger Powerdrive Club Car Golf Cart Part on 2040-parts.com
Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States
This is a new Schauer Golf Cart Battery Charger. This charger is a 48 Volt 15 Amp fully automatic (completes the charge cycle and goes to "float" charge) charger. This charger operates on standard household power (117VAC 60 Hz) but can also operate on 240 Volts 50 or 60 Hz power. This charger is front panel switch selectable for either "Flooded" (normal lead acid batteries that have caps for checking liquid level) or the AGM type (Sealed) batteries.
CONNECTOR: This charger has a Club CAR Powerdrive (see picture) Connector. If you need the charger with other connectors, see my other auctions. NOTE ABOUT CLUB CARTS USING THIS CHARGER: For most Club Car Carts, this charger will work correctly and no changes will need to be made to use the charger. On some later model Club Car Carts, made after 2005, the onboard computer may refuse to "turn on" and allow this charger to operate. If that happens, it is an easy matter to just bypass the onboard computer by adding one wire to the cart. See link below: ABOUT SHIPPING: All of our chargers are in stock at our place of business in Russellville, AR and usually ship same day or next day depending on when the charger is paid for. Payment is to be by Paypal or Credit Card by phone. Shipping will be FREE inside the US lower 48 states. There will be an additional charge of $25.00 for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and the charger will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail to those locations. Customers outside the US, please see the shipping calculator for a shipping quote. WARRANTY: This charger has an 18 month from date of purchase warranty from the Manufacturer. Full contact information for the Manufacturer and for us is always included with the charger. If warranty service is needed during the warranty period, the customer should contact the manufacturer, Schauer Battery Charger Company, to get information on how to send the charger in for repair. The customer will be responsible for shipping to Schauer and Schauer will pay shipping for returning the charger to the customer inside the US. Customers outside the US will have to pay for shipping both ways for warranty service. NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US or CANADA: This charger operates on 100 to 240 Volts AC, 50 or 60hz. If your power is 240 Volts AC at 50 hz, no changes need to made to this charger to have it operate on that power. We will be shipping this charger with AC Power Cord for use in the United States or Canada. If your country uses a different AC Power Mains Plug, you will need to obtain that Mains Plug and install it in place of the US plug. Or, there are adapters made for conversion from the US standard plug to other countries standard plugs. RETURNS: Ebay now requires sellers to state a return policy. The only options are to state "Returns Accepted" or Returns Not Accepted". Well, we had to change to "Returns Not Accepted" because of abuse of the return policy. Over the years, we have had few returns and in most cases, a simple phone call solved the problem with an explanation of how the product worked. We still have a liberal return policy, but there are some qualifications on that policy. For instance, just sending the product back without any prior communication is not acceptable. Ordering a battery charger to check to see if your old one is really bad or the problem is somewhere else, with plans to return the new charger is not acceptable. Most questions about whether the charger is the right one for your use can be worked out in advance before the purchase. |

Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-riding MPV – to debut at Frankfurt 2011
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-slung MPV Don’t look at the Peugeot HX1 Concept and think you’ll be walking in to your local Peugeot showroom next year and driving off in one, because you won’t. The HX1 is a showcase for where Peugeot sees the brand going in terms of “…architecture, aerodynamics, modularity, equipment, interior materials, the environment and powerplants.” Just like so many concepts from Peugeot of late – the funky HR1 Concept and the almost Aston Martin-esque SR1 spring to mind – the HRX1 is a crackingly good-looking car. A bit like a Mercedes R-Class with a proper injection of Gallic style and flair.
