THIS IS A STOCK LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BEZEL THAT WAS TAKEN FROM A 52 DODGE. IT IS IN FAIR CONDITION. AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS IT HAS SOME PITTING BUT IT STILL HAS A GOOD SHINE TO THE CHROME. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS SHOULD WORK IN THE 49 PLYMOUTH AND 49-52 DODGE CARS. BUT I CANNOT VERIFY THIS SO CHECK BEFORE BIDDING. THE PART NUMBER ON THE BACK IS 1244779. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANT 49-52 MOPAR RESTROATION.

NLV Quant – née Koenigsegg Quant – at Geneva

Thu, 25 Feb 2010

The Quant - back at Geneva as the NLV Quant Last week we ran a story on Koenigsegg taking somethig new to Geneva after we’d had a chat with them. But part of that story was on last year’s Koenigsegg Quant, a four-seat electric supercar we saw at Geneva 2009. At the time it was billed as a Koenigsegg Quant (although, as Koenigsegg pointed out to us, it was always a commission project) but now it’s set to return to Geneva 2010 as the NLV Quant.

Scions at SEMA

On Tuesday, Scion unveiled the cars it will show on its stand at SEMA and, while we appreciate the efforts of the tC tuners in the Scion Tuner Challenge, we gotta admit the FR-S entries and another stretch limo xB really caught our editorial eye. Coolest car of the night was a tie between the Ken Gushi GReddy FR-S and the Bulletproof Automotive FR-S. We couldn't decide which we liked better.

Designer insights: highlights of Auto Design Prague 2014

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, might not seem the most obvious choice for an automotive design conference. But when one considers the country's history of innovation in the arts and architecture, its long-lived automotive marques like Tatra and Skoda, and Prague's central location in Europe, it makes perfect sense. Conference speakers included the program design director for Citroën DS, Ivo Groen; Volvo vice president of design Thomas Ingenlath; Jaguar advanced design director, Julian Thomson; Gert Hildebrand, head of design for Qoros; and Johann Lemercier, program manager at Ferrari design.
