49 Mostly N.O.S. SPARK PLUGS, Mixed Makes and vintages, mostly CHAMPION and AUTOLITE.   Mostly New Old Stock parts of various vintages, Some show oxidation from extended storage.    From an ol' time Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto, Dodge Truck Collection!!   Including:

  • One Antique FIRESTONE with POLONIUM (RADIOACTIVE) T-30, with box.    Box warped, one end of box missing retaining just one end-flap.   Some oxidation to spark plug, spark end covered with protective cardboard.
  • AC SPARK PLUG 104, with box.  Patent Number circa 1946.   Some oxidation to spark plug, box missing some of the end flaps, worn. 
  • AUTO-LITE SPARK PLUG T-7 7/8" - 18 box;  with Auto-Lite Transport ALT8 spark plug.   Box worn and creased, some oxidation to plug.

Corvette icon Duntov added to Bloomington Gold hall

Zora-Arkus Duntov, the first chief engineer for the Chevrolet Corvette, is among 10 people who will be added to the Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA's Great Hall next summer. The Great Hall is a form of hall of fame started by Bloomington Gold, an annual Corvette restoration and car show event that rewards cars for being maintained in original or factory-correct condition. The event is held in late June.

Saab seeks partner for new small car, aims to be a contract manufacturer

Saab is continuing its search for a partner to help it build a new entry-level car and the company also wants to build vehicles for other automakers at its factory in Sweden, Chairman Victor Muller said. "We are talking with other manufacturers to buy a platform or drivetrain technology for this entry-level car," Muller told Automotive News Europe. "It should come as soon as possible, in 2014 the earliest." Muller said the car would be priced at about 20,000 euros, or about $28,300 at current exchange rates.
