No reserve.  This auction is for a light-up hood ornament from a 1949 Pontiac Silver Streak 8 Streamliner 2 door fastback. Description to follow but first please note I can't always ship things out right away, sometimes it can take a week before I can send a package so if that's an issue please contact me first.   I believe this is for '49 only but might fit onto a '50 as well.  I also have the bulb socket that snaps into the hood and I'll include it even though it's not pictured.   The ornament is not cracked or damaged but it does need to be rechromed, it's quite pitted, the pics make it look nicer than it is.   The indian head plastic is milky and has crazing on it as well.  What you see is what you get.

Everything is as shown, as-is.  Please be patient with the shipping of these items.  I can't always ship out parts immediately after the auction ends.  Sometimes it can take a week or two for shipping.  If this is a problem and you need something right away, be sure to let me know right away and I'll do what I can.

Shipping for this item will be $14 anywhere in the continental US, International bidders, please email me for a quote.  You are welcome to pick this up at my shop near Brillion, Wisconsin if you're in the area.    Feel free to email me with any questions.   Be sure to see my other auctions for more parts, and thanks for looking.

This is Toyota’s FT-86G, the second concept in quick succession from the Japanese car manufacturer that previews a rear-wheel drive sports coupe coming in 2011. Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the latest FT-86 show car has a sleeker and more aggressive look, after the more rounded and shapely lines of the concept revealed at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. The looks are the major departure, with the new lines giving the 'G' a much sharper set of metalwork.

Our own Mark Vaughn recently took a tour of the sprawling California plant where Tesla is gearing up to build as many as 20,000 electric cars per year.
