This is a heavy duty, lock-up torque converter for 1997-UP 4L60E, DHPF code. This code is printed on your original converter and must match what you have in your vehicle originally. This balanced and pressure tested converter has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. This converter has a stock stall speed and will be fine for up to 500 hp. This converter would be great for a stock replacement or for RV/Towing purposes. There is absolutely “no” core charge, or need to return a core. Please visit my other auctions and new eBay Store for great deals on shift kits or other transmission parts. I have many upgrades for this transmission in my Store. Purchase a torque converter and any upgrade; shift kit, corvette servo, boost valve, etc.

New car registrations at five-year high September 2013
Despite the UK economy being in the doldrums for much of the past five years, new car registrations have recovered well ahead of the curve and still seem to be unstoppable. September saw new car registrations hit 403,136 – the highest figure for five and a half years – and the first time since 2008 new car registrations have broken the 400k barrier. We’ve covered the reasons before – pre-reg cars, dealer discounts and even PPI payouts – but car registrations are certainly continuing to give buoyancy to a recovery that’s still fragile.
The Ferrari 250 GTO #3851 GT makes ‘just’ $38 million
Last month, we reported that a Ferrari 250 GTO was due to hit the auction room at Bonhams Quail Lodge sale and was expected to hit a massive record price, with estimates ranging from $60-100 million. On that basis, the sale was a complete failure. In fact, the 250 GTO – previously owned by Fabrizio Violati – managed to reach a relatively paltry $38.1 million (£22.8 million), with the actual price (before buyers premium) ‘just’ $34.6 million (£20.7 million).
Lotus will unleash its most potent and exclusive lightweight car to date at Tokyo tomorrow; the Exige Scura. Clad in moody black paint accented with slashes of carbon fibre, this is one Lotus you’ll never see coming. Chances are you’ll never catch it either, since the engine sitting behind the driver is Hethel’s most powerful unit shoehorned into the lightweight chassis.
