We are offering the following high quality transmission rebuild kit for your GM 4L80-E transmission.  This kit will work for the year models, 1991 through 1995.   This kit will include the following items in this kit, Raybestos Frictions and Steels, Toledo Trans Kit Overhaul Gasket and Seals Kit, filter, Front Band, Rear Band, Pump Bushing and the Extension Housing Bushing. This kit also includes the Overrun Clutch Bonded Pistons.

A34960E ... Piston, 4L80E Overrun Clutch (Bonded) 1991-Up

A34010E ... Filter, 4L80E 91-96 (Allomatic)

A34022 ... Band, 400/425 Front 1" Wide 64-Up(Also 4L80E, 1991-98) (Raybestos)

34024E ... Band, 400/4L80E Rear(New Design)(Smooth Lining)1991-Up (Kevlar) (Reline)

This is a basic overhaul kit for your transmission.  We suggest changing all the bushing, thrust washers and the thrust bearing during your rebuild.  There may be broken hard parts in the transmission that was your problem that caused the rebuild.  Inspect all the hard parts very closely while you clean the parts.  If you are new to rebuilding automatic transmissions, remember to soak all friction materials for 30 minutes in clean transmission fluid before installing.

UK Car Sales up again in October 2012

New car registrations rose in October by 12.1 per cent in the UK, the ninth month of 2012 to see rising car sales. The European car market may be in a real mess with carnage looming for production facilities run by mainstream car makers, but the UK continues to grow its new car market with sales in October up by 12.1 per cent. Total new car registrations (which includes pre-reg) rose to 151,252 units, the ninth monthly increase of 2012, and the SMMT are now predicting total sales for 2012 of over 2 million, back to 2010 levels after a fall in 2011 to below the 2 million mark.
