This is a 4 piece set of tension springs that go between the door panel and the window regulator. These are factory ford correct for many applications. The bottom of the spring as pictured is 1.655" (approximately 1 5/8) in diameter and the top as pictured is .845" (approximately 27/32") in diameter. The spring wire is .080" in diameter. Please look at the photos and be sure that the ones you need look like and measure like the ones listed. You will get exactly what is pictured. The original springs are always rusty, broken or lost when removed. Now you can get your car back to original showroom standards with this this new tension spring set. Volvo V40 Cross Country & V40 R-Design: Paris 2012
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Volvo has revealed the V40 Cross Country and V40 R-Design at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and both are convincing. The sporty take on the new V40 is the V40 R-design, a cosmetic update for the already good-looking V40 that manages to bolt on go-faster bits without wrecking the good lines of the normal V40. We would like to have seen the Volvo V40 R-Design get the sports suspension as standard, but Volvo obviously feel that most R-Design buyers want the looks rather than the more dynamic ride the sports suspension offers, so it stays as an option. And as the R-Design option is available across the new V40 range – from the D2 to the T4 – it’s probably the right decision.

GM to double size of battery lab
Mon, 12 Apr 2010General Motors says it will spend $8 million to double the size of its Global Battery Systems Lab, which the company claims is the largest and most technologically advanced automotive battery lab in the United States. GM says the expansion will speed up the development of hybrid and electric vehicles, such as the upcoming Chevrolet Volt, by improving on-site testing of battery cells and systems. When finished, the lab will be 30,000 square feet bigger than it is now, for a 63,000-square-foot total.
