Ssangyong XIV-1 concept

Ssangyong is the latest car manufacturer to confirm they will be showcasing a new concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, the XIV-1. The XIV-1 B-segment concept, previously known as the XUV-1, is a crossover concept that underlines the importance of the car's interaction with its driver and passengers, with the vehicle's name coming from the phrase 'eXciting user Interface Vehicle'. Ssangyong will also be premiering the SUT-1 sports utility vehicle, first shown in concept form at the 2011 Geneva motor show and debuting the petrol-powered Korando crossover.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible unveiled

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible debuts at Geneva Land Rover has revealed the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, which will debut at Geneva. Land Rover say it’s a concept, but it looks like it’s heading for production. Ford engine plant builds number 10 million

Ford's 90-degree, overhead-cam Modular V8 has covered a wide spectrum since it was introduced in 1991--powering luxury cars, SUVs, pickups and high-performance sports cars. A large number of those engines have come from a Ford plant in Romeo, Mich., which has now built its 10-millionth engine--a 4.6-liter V8 that is headed for a 2010 Mustang GT. The Romeo engine plant was converted from a tractor factory.
