We reported last year that Jaguar Land Rover looked like they’d got some decent product placement in the latest James Bond film (SKYFALL – known then as ‘Bond 23′) and now, with Bond celebrating 50 years, the 2012 Paris Motor Show imminent and the Bond SKYFALL film about to hit cinemas, it’s time for some Jaguar Land Rover PR. Car Design Awards China 2012 winners announced
Sat, 21 Apr 2012The third annual Car Design Awards China competition came to an end earlier this evening as the winners of the 10 categories were announced along with the nomination for 2012 Student Designer of the Year - Xiao Hangjie, a student at Hunan University. The awards ceremony was held at the studios of CH-Auto in Beijing in the presence of an audience of renowned designers and judges from both domestic and international OEMs, with esteemed designer Chris Bangle acting as master of ceremonies. At the concluding judging session held in Beijing in March, one of the judges, Simon Loasby, Director of Design at VW China, said, "It was so difficult for us to decide on a winner, the entrants were so strong.
Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse breaks cover at Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Lamborghini revealed the V10-powered Gallardo Squadra Corse at the Frankfurt motor show on Tuesday. The name refers to the recently founded department within the company that manages all motorsport activities, from GT3 to Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. Lamborghini says the Squadra Corse is derived directly from the race car version, using the same V10 engine and rear wing.
