But the SA APERTA isn’t the only new Ferrari on Ferrari’s stand in Paris. Ferrari has brought along the Ferrari California HELE to Paris (and no, we don’t know why Ferrari suddenly find it necessary to SHOUT their car names), which is about as close as you’ll get to an Eco Ferrari.
BMW at the Geneva Motor Show: BMW 5 Series Hybrid Revealed
Fri, 26 Feb 2010The BMW 5 Series Hybrid As we reported in December, with a couple of days to go to the Geneva Motor Show BMW have revealed that the new BMW 5 Series (2010) will have a Hybrid added to its ranks. Actually, they haven’t said that – the 5 Series Hybrid Concept they’re taking to Geneva is labelled a Concept – but we all know it’s what they mean. The 5 Series Hybrid will join the X6 Hybrid and the 7 Series Hybrid when it goes on sale, probably in 2011.

They are shown off in a display featuring “Technologies for Today, Tomorrow and The Future”, together with Mazda’s new Mazda SKY Drive high-efficiency automatic transmissions. These new technologies are expected to bring Mazda’s corporate average fuel economy down by 30% in the next five years.
