Hungarian Grand Prix (2014): RESULT
Sun, 27 Jul 2014Hungarian Grand Prix (2014): RESULT What a difference a year makes – in 2013 Lewis Hamilton was on pole for the Hungarian Grand Prix, but this year, after a car fire in qualifying, Hamilton starts from the pit lane as his team mate, Nico Rosberg, starts from pole in Hungary. The Frankfurt motor show 2009 review, by Ben Oliver
Wed, 16 Sep 2009By Ben Oliver Motor Shows 16 September 2009 00:01 Taking the metro to the Frankfurt motor show, I was surrounded by men whose grey suits, lapel badges and reading matter made it obvious they were car company execs heading the same way. In previous years they probably had access to the fleets of chauffeur-driven cars that used to clog the town as they shuttled from airport to exhibition hall to hotel. But Frankfurt, like every other motor show, finds itself in reduced circumstances this year. The Paris and Frankurt shows alternate, and the comparison with Paris this time last year is instructive.
Koenigsegg One:1 preparing for Geneva & hosted by Christian von Koenigsegg (video)
Wed, 26 Mar 2014Christian von Koenigsegg walks us round the new Koenigsegg One:1 The first sniff of the Koenigsegg One:1 came at the end of 2012 when Cars UK exclusively revealed the first details of Koenigsegg’s Megacar. It took more than a year for Christian von Koenigsegg and his intrepid team to complete the first car, but it was worth the wait. Probably the supercar star of the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, the One:1 gets 1360 HP and weighs just 1360KG – the the world’s first 1:1 power to curb weight ratio supercar – and has 2G cornering ability and 610kg of downforce at 160mph thanks to active aerodynamics.
