Up for auction is a 4x4 shifter trim ring that came out of a 1978 Ford F250. This is the trim ring that goes around the 4x4 shifter and hooks onto the carpet.

Will fit 1973-1979 Ford F150 F250 F350 and 1978-1979 Ford Bronco.

 

This trim ring is used but in excellent condition. Does have some very minor surface wear such as hairline surface scratches and has a few black spots that can be polished off or it looks good just the way it is.

 

All parts are in used condition and may show signs of wear but are still in functional condition. Since these parts are used they are being sold AS-IS with no warranty.

Ford have made 14,000 sales under the Scrappage Sheme Ford – who are the biggest car seller in the UK anyway – are, not surprisingly, coming out on top in the Scrappage wars. They’ve managed to shift over 14,000 cars under the Scrappage Scheme in the last few months, and orders are coming in at the rate of 300 a day. Top seller is the new Ford Fiesta, with a healthy dose of Fiesta sales being the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic.

Longtime auto journalist David E. Davis Jr. dies

David E. Davis Jr., inarguably one of the deans of automotive journalism, died on Sunday, March 27, at age 80. Davis had been suffering from bladder cancer and underwent surgery a few days earlier.
