Up for auction is a pair of early 5.0 GT40 cylinder heads, not P's. F3ZE casting number. These heads were taken to our local machine shop, taken apart, cleaned and magnafluxed. Our local machine shop recommends a valve job to make these a great set of bolt on heads. Button, on the other hand, managed to throw away his grid position at the start and spent the whol;e race playing catch-up. He managed to finish in seventh – for a very valuable two points – but hge was never in contention.

Announced today and effective from 1 August 2013, Dr Wolfgang Ziebart becomes group engineering director, replacing Bob Joyce who moves into the new role of product creation and delivery director. Ziebart worked in R&D at BMW for 23 years, before moving onto key suppliers Continental and semi-conductor maker Infineon.
Gibbs Sports Amphibians launches the Quadski
Tue, 16 Oct 2012Gibbs Sports Amphibians has unveiled the Quadski, an amphibious all-terrain vehicle that, according to company founder Alan Gibbs, obliterates the distinction between land and water transportation. The 1,300-pound, 10.5-foot-long Quadski looks a bit like a jet-powered personal watercraft sitting on top of a single-seat ATV, but it's what's underneath the vehicle's molded composite body that separates the high-speed Quadski from larger, slower amphibious predecessors. The Quadski draws power from a BMW K 1300 Motorrad motorcycle engine capable of producing 175 hp.
