Up for auction is a pair of early 5.0 GT40 cylinder heads, not P's. F3ZE casting number. These heads were taken to our local machine shop, taken apart, cleaned and magnafluxed. Our local machine shop recommends a valve job to make these a great set of bolt on heads. Porsche names Norbert Singer grand marshal for Rennsport Reunion
Thu, 06 Oct 2011Porsche has named longtime race-car engineer Norbert Singer the grand marshal for the Rennsport Reunion IV on Oct. 14 at the Mazda Raceway. Singer, 71, is the only Porsche racing engineer to have contributed to each of the brand's 16 Le Mans victories.
Top student technicians compete for $12 million in scholarships
Wed, 15 Jun 2011Jimbo Paranada and Marc Paguirigan wore their leis made of lucky Hawaiian ti leaves, but it wasn't quite enough to give the Maui High School students the win in the 62nd-annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills national competition on June 14 at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich. The Hawaiian duo finished second to the two-person team of Matthew Saunders and Drew Torrey from Vale High School in Vale, Ore. The Oregon pair won the title of "America's Best Student Auto Technicians," outscoring at field of state champions from all 50 states.
Stratospheric price for Volkswagen's 'future car'

The first XL1 was delivered to a German customer in May, with UK buyers now lined up to take a share of the 200 that are due to be built.
