Alfa Romeo MiTo Review (2012): Quadrifoglio Verde (Cloverleaf)
Fri, 29 Jun 2012We have the range-topping Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde (Cloverleaf) in for a week for review and test. The Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde (or Alfa MiTo Cloverleaf to us linguistically challenged Brits) is Alfa’s efforts at a proper little hot hatch and gets the very good 170bhp 1.4 litre MultiAir engine under the bonnet, offering real performance promise. The MiTo is a bit of a Marmite car in the looks department with its small car take on an 8C nose.
Subaru VIZIV concept to premiere in Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Subaru has released the first image of its new VIZIV concept vehicle ahead of its debut at next month's Geneva motor show. The preview shows a hexagonal matte black grille design framed by C-shaped headlamps underlined by a character line that stretches along the side. A framing character line also pronounces the wheelarches, while the hood is highly sculpted.
Tesla Roadster Sport announced
Sun, 11 Jan 2009The Tesla Roadster Sport will be available from the summer, for around €112K, and claims a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds, a 0.2 improvement on the existing Tesla Roadster. The extra power comes from fiddling with the stator in the motor and an increased winding density for less resistance (I’m sure that must make sense if you understand Electric Motors – I’m still stuck on the internal combustion engine – must keep up!). The Tesla Roadster Sport also gets Yokohama Ultra High Performance tyres and some suspension tweaks.
