The projects consisted of a number of innovative and exploratory concepts, almost half of which, interestingly, were presented in digital form. And so it was, with the news last month (thanks to a an email from Suzuki in Russia announcing the 2012 Swift Sport ahead of the game) that the Swift Sport was heading for a production-ready debut and going on sale in 2012. So it’s not exactly a surprise that Suzuki has sent us a single image of the 2012 Swift Sport to tease us in to a full debut at Frankfurt.

The mastermind behind the F1 supercar left McLaren Cars a couple of years ago, and has now secured the funding to set up on his own. Gordon Murray Design Limited – a design, prototyping and development company – will be launched on 4 July.
