5" Speakers Fairing For Yamaha Road Star 1999-2009 on 2040-parts.com
Rowlett, Texas, US
This is a NEW DETACHABLE FAIRING for YAMAHA ROAD STAR 1999-2009. Fairings are made of hand laid fiberglass then sanded to a super smooth finish and is sprayed with a coat of Black Primer. Fiberglass is made by combining resin with woven glass mat that is then hand laid and sculpted into the desired shape. Afterwards, the product is either covered with a primer or sealed with a protective gel coat. ABS plastic is not as tough as fiberglass and if it cracked or damaged, repairs are difficult, costly, and rarely return the plastic to its original state. Fiberglass, however, is not only more durable than ABS, but repairs to it can also be easily completed by almost anyone. AUCTION INCLUDES: YAMAHA ROAD STAR Fairing with 5" speaker holes Mounting Brackets (OEM windshield mount is required to install brackets) 6" tinted windshield Fairing will arrive in Black Primer PAYMENT Accept Paypal ONLY SHIPPING Please allow 5-10 business days to ship items out after payment is cleared. Mon, 12 Apr 2010The first flight over the Pacific took place just south of Los Angeles just more than 100 years ago, on Jan. 14, 1910. At that time, only seven years after the Wright Brothers' first flight, the Model T had been in production just one year.
Car owners targeted by litter law
Tue, 28 Jan 2014CAR OWNERS could be fined if other people drop litter out of their vehicles under new laws approved by peers. The new law would mean the registered owner of a vehicle would face a civil penalty even if they were not responsible for the littering. Home Office minister Lord Taylor said it would give councils an extra power to tackle the "scourge" of rubbish lying on the roadside.
Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Express (1987)
Fri, 25 Jan 2013A fantastic selection of concept cars from the ‘80s were featured in Back to the Future II such as the Pontiac Pursuit, the Ford Probe or the Saab EV-1, but my personal favorite was the Chevrolet Express that almost ran over Marty upon his arrival in the year 2015. Before being a movie extra, the Express was presented in 1987 as another attempt from GM to adapt aircraft engineering to automotive requirements. GM had been experimenting with gas turbines for more than 20 years, dating back to the 370hp XP-21 Firebird from 1954, but that concept was quite primitive compared to its younger brother.
