Bentley Continental Supersports – Driven at Goodwood

Derek Bell took the Bentley Continental Supersports up the Goodwood Hillclimb So this bit of news – and video – is slightly out of sync, but as it features Bentley’s fastest car ever – and Derek Bell driving – so it was hard not to give you the chance to have a look. The Bentley Supersports is what all ‘Eco’ cars should be – madly powerful but with a green badge and it can run on E85 Bio Fuel! The Bentley Supersports manages to churn out 612bhp from its 6.0 litre, twin-turbo W12 engine, delivering the 0-60mph sprint in 3.7 seconds and on to over 200mph.

GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Exhibition: Taxis of the World

The 'Taxis du Monde' exhibit recently held at the Paris Motor Show displayed a total of 40 taxis from 20 cities around the world, illustrating the evolution and diverse needs of the past, the present and even the future. Renault’s Type AG from 1913 is one historical example. One of the first Parisian taxis, it became known as the “Taxi of the Marne” after 1300 examples transported 6000 men to head off the German army in the first world war.
