First, This auction "IS NOT" for the mirror, rather the hard to find mounting screw for these mirrors.
If you have been fortunate enough to have one or two of these,Possibly purchased on eBay or salvaged from a distant bone yard, you are probably in need of the mounting screw.
Typically when these mirrors are found on an old FoMoCo vehicles the screw has to be drilled out, and of course they are not readily available at Ace Hardware,
Put your vintage mirror back in use with a new mounting screw.
If you are restoring one of these and have gravel pits in the SS Head ask me how I fixed mine.  The same screw is used on many later FoMoCo Mirrors also

Winners of the 2013 Michelin Design Challenge announced

Michelin presented the three winners of the 2013 Michelin Challenge Design at its private Designers' Reception during of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit's Renaissance Center. A jury of automotive designers and industry experts picked the winners from the 15 finalists that best explored how design contributes to and impacts the ongoing effort to develop more efficient vehicles, while keeping the emotional side of car design front of mind. This year's top three finalists are Jorge Biosca (Spain), Liu Shun (China) and Song Wei Teo (Singapore).

Vacation over and on his way to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show, he popped by Stanford University's Volkswagen Automotive Innovation Lab to speak to students who'd just returned from winter break themselves.

It's the hot hatch version of the Mito supermini and will form the centrepiece of the Alfa stand at next week's 2009 Geneva motor show.This is the first GTA since the musclebound 147. GTA stands for gran turismo alleggerito  – and this pocket rocket version of the Mito has indeed been lightened and toughened up to give it some serious performance.
