First Sight: BMW 3 Series
Wed, 27 Oct 2004With the 7 Series of 2001, Z4 of 2002, X3, 5 and 6 Series of 2003, and 1 Series earlier this year, the current E46 3 Series is the last (X5 excepted) 'old school' BMW in production. These first official pictures show BMW's fifth generation E90 3 Series which replaces this car and completes the new design strategy for the main series BMW range under Design Director Chris Bangle. Now with a smaller sibling in the range, the 3 Series is no longer BMW's entry level car although it shares much of its platform with the 1 Series and it is expected to continue to account for about half of BMW's total sales.

This is the Koengisegg One:1, and it may well need a team of lion-tamers to restrain it from leaping clean off its Geneva motor show stand and picking a fight with the McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918. You’re looking at, according to Koenigsegg, the new fastest road car in the world.
Ford Australia designs Mad Max concepts
Mon, 11 Jul 2011With the iconic road movie ‘Mad Max' set to reappear on the silver screen next year, the Australian International Motor Show played host to two Ford concepts aiming to be the next 'Interceptor'. Built in response to a brief from Top Gear Australia, Ford Australia's Research Centre employees created a variety of machines for Max. The entries, however, were whittled down to those from Nima Nourian and Simon Brook.
