Caterham reveals new SP/300R race car
Thu, 13 Jan 2011British specialty-car maker Caterham unveiled its new SP/300R sports prototype race car and a plan for creating a one-make series in 2012 on Thursday at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham, England. The SP/300R is powered by a supercharged 2.0-liter Ford Duratec four-cylinder engine. It produces 299 hp and 213 lb-ft of torque.
Jeep Grand Cherokee debuts Chrysler V6

The new engine greatly simplifies Chrysler's powertrain offerings and helps the company save money by improving economies of scale. 2010 Lincoln MKZ gets more power, noise insulation

The 3.5-liter V6 is unchanged with its 263 hp, but the six-speed automatic transmission with manually selectable gears is new. Thanks to lower early gears, the '10 MKZ slashes its 0-to-60-mph time from 7.7 seconds to 7.1 seconds over the outgoing model.
