Description:

The Power+Plus HPS (High Performance Street) aluminum intake manifold is an outstanding performance street manifold that produces more power and torque than similar competitive manifolds yet sells for a lot less money.

The Power+Plus Typhoon Manifold is a high performance dual plane, 180° street manifold designed to be used with Holley, Carter AFB, or Edelbrock square bore carbs. For street applications use 600-700 cfm vacuum secondary carbs. For high performance street, use 700-800 cfm double pumper carburetors.

This manifold produces power comparable to some single plane manifolds yet retains the throttle response and drivability typical of a dual plane. The HPS Manifold also features cast-in nitrous bosses with water outlets at all four corners plus dual distributor hold downs.

This manifold is .70-inches taller than the #52000 or #52001 (Stock height). It has a provision to add an oil fill tube. No provision for exhaust heated or stock style chokes. Accepts late model water neck, A/C, alternator, and HEI. Will fit cast iron bowtie heads and '87-'95 cast iron or aluminum heads. Will not fit under a stock Vette hood.

The Ferrari 550 Barchetta Zagato GTZ - fetched £350k at Bonhams Regular readers may remember that we exclusively reported that Zagato were working on five Ferrari 550 Barchettas to create the Ferrari 550 GTZ just over a year ago. That report caused all sorts of grief as Zagato and their photographer threatened us with all manner of hellfire and brimstone for spoiling their secret. The resulting grief meant we had to take down their photos, but our story stood.

2014 Lexus CT 200h Facelift to debut at Guangzhou Motor Show Remarkably, the Lexus CT 200h arrived as a ‘baby’ Lexus more than three years ago at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for a bit of a facelift. That facelift for the 2014 model year will debut next week, not at the big shows in Tokyo or Los Angeles but at China’s Guangzhou Motor Show before going on sale as the 2014 Lexus CT 200h. Lexus aren’t telling us what they’ve done under the skin of the CT 200h – if anything – but the new CT 200h does finally get the new Lexus spindle grill to make it a full-fledged member of Lexus’s modern family.
