“The gauges are in fair condition with minor knicks and scratches. Both gauges were working when removed from the vehicle. However, since these are used items they are being sold as-is. The boost gauge would occasionally not work, but would start working again when tapped. I suspect this is due to the frayed connection that can be seen on one of the harness wires (see photo). Gauge pod is also included. I'm not sure what vehicle(s) it will fit.”

Up for auction is a boost and EXT gauge.  Both gauges are 52mm.  These are older gauges that do not require a control unit and do not have a warning level.  They just display values.  The gauges are in fair condition with minor knicks and scratches. Both gauges were working when removed from the vehicle. However, since these are used items they are being sold as-is.  The boost gauge would occasionally not work, but would start working again when tapped.  I suspect this is due to the frayed connection that can be seen on one of the harness wires (see photo).  Gauge pod is also included.  I'm not sure what vehicle(s) it will fit.

Shipping will be basic with a tracking number.  Other methods are available with any additional costs covered by the buyer.  Please contact me prior to the auction close if you wish to use an alternative shipping method.  I am willing to ship to countries other than Canada or the USA, but bidders must contact me prior to placing a bid to get a quote for shipping.

Acura NSX laps Mid-Ohio

It didn't have the production engine, nor the production exhaust (it was gloriously loud) and because there were safety vehicles on the track it wasn't able to go flat-out, but by golly there it was, a bright blue 2015 Acura NSX lapping Mid-Ohio just before the start of the Honda Indy 200. Being a production mule with any number of systems still under development, it couldn't be turned over to just any driver. So it was piloted by Jason Widmer, assistant large project leader for testing for the new NSX.

Toyota GT 86 - apparently, it's as wide as a London Bus The Toyota GT 86 – which we all know as the Toyota FT-86 – has been revealed by Toyota UK ahead of its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show this week. It’s the Toyota GT 86, not the FT-86. But this is Toyota’s ‘affordable’ sports coupe that seems to have been coming since the new millennium arrived.

At this week's launch of the new Kia Sportage, CAR witnessed Kia design chief Peter Schreyer sketch out his original vision of the new crossover 4x4. We later clobbered the black-polo-necked styling boss and asked if we could give it away on CAR Online. He agreed, added some finishing touches and signed the Kia Sportage design sketch.
