Here is the front sheet metal below the grille that I think came off a 1954 Ford cab over truck but it might have came off a 1955. A fellow ebayer told me it was not 1954. He said it was newer. So look  close at photos to make sure this is what you are looking for. It looks to be in fair shape. It is a good solid piece. It just has a little surface rust on the under side.On the one side it has a small dent but should be easy to fix. This is kind of a large piece and the box will weigh as much as the piece does. The piece itself weighs about 14 lbs and the box will be about 14 lbs or a little more.Feel free to ask about shipping even though we have it as must pick up.I have given myself a little more time on the shipping just in case I have to find a box big enough. And with how big this is I don't know if it is too big for USPS.This piece is 66 1/2 inches long.  Most of the time we can send it out with in about 24 hours. Feel free to email questions or comments.

Driver prefer atlas to sat-nav

SATELLITE NAVIGATION may have become an integral part of many drivers’ daily routine, three quarters of the UK’s motorists (76%) say they still prefer to use a road atlas to plan journeys. Drivers in a survey by the AA said they found an atlas more useful to give an overview of a journey. While satellite navigation systems are useful, a further 65% of drivers said they still use an atlas to check the sat-nav is selecting the best route.

Saab steps up green drive

Sun, 03 Jun 2007

By Mark Walton Motor Shows 03 June 2007 01:58 Saab goes bio-power crazy Saab is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with a further push into the very topical biofuels arena, and Geneva showcases two new examples of the Swedes' growing green commitment. First is the new 9-3 Biopower, a full range of saloon, estate and convertible 9-3s, all powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that's been modified to run on both unleaded and E85 (85 percent ethanol, 15 percent petrol). The mechanical changes include hardened valves and valve seats, and a new stainless steel fuel tank and ancilliaries, adding up to what's expected to be a £600 premium in the showroom over the standard 9-3.

Ford dumps the CD player

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

CD Players in Ford Cars are no more I’m not old enough to remember when cars came with valve radios, but I am old enough to remember when many cars didn’t even get a radio. I’m also old enough to remember when the music source of choice in a car was the 8-track tape machine. And actually, for in-car use, 8-tracks were great.
