Description:

The new Professional Products Power+Plus High Performance Street Manifold for injected Mustangs is a breakthrough in styling and performance. This new manifold is suitable for high performance street use, bracket racing, nitrous, or supercharged applications. Use the Professional Products 70mm Throttle Body for optimum performance (see our other auctions for: PP-69200 1986-'93 5.0L V8 70mm Polished Throttle Body).

On 1993-'95 applications use:
1. Throttle body adapter from Trick Flow Specialties #5150SN95 or Edelbrock #3835
2. Strut Tower Brace #M-20202-A51 from Ford Racing or #5225 from Edelbrock for proper clearance.

1994-'95 Late model applications also require Edelbrock Fitting #8025, EGR Supply Spacer.

Dyno Testing the POWER+PLUS Mustang EFI Manifold

One of Professional Products Mustang specialists customers recently tested the above 54020 Typhoon EFI manifold and compared it to the Trick Flow Specialties Track Heat model and also to a Ford Racing Cobra model. From 2,100 rpm up to about 4,700 rpm, all three manifolds were similar in power output with the Cobra having a slight edge over the Typhoon while the Typhoon had slightly better power than the Trick Flow. At 4,900 rpm, the Cobra was basically all done while the Typhoon and the Trick Flow continued to make more power. Both the TFS and Typhoon produced about 30 HP more than the Cobra at 5,700 rpm. The power on the upper end was basically the same between the Typhoon and the TFS.

These tests were peformed for one of the Mustang magazines.

30 horsepower MORE than the Cobra, and a slight edge on the Trick Flow.

1,000 hp twin turbo Salt Flats racing Enzo There’s an argument that messing with a limited edition hypercar is sacrilege. And, to a degree, we sympathise with those who consider the pimping of an Enzo Ferrari by the likes of Uwe Gemballa to be akin to letting Damian Hirst paint a new set of clothes on the Mona Lisa. But there are times when the reasons make a whole lot of sense.
