 This Hurricane manifold for 35 W engines offers many features not found in any similar manifold. It has a bridged rear water crossover passage that helps keep engine temps down. It also features injector/nitrous bosses as well as two extra tapped water ports at the back. It is available with the injector bosses machined for injectores and we also offer a set of fuel rails #10606 designed for this manifold as well as a complete fuel rail kit #10607, which includes the #10671 fuel pressure regulator. See Fuel Rail section for specifics. This manifold will accept all standard pattern square bore carburetors. It fits standard 351 W blocks with a 9.50” deck height. An ideal manifold for circle track or drag racing engines operating in the 3500 to 7500 rpm range. Also suitable for high performance street applications.

Note: Use Professional Products 10606 Fuel Rails or 10607 Fuel Rails Kit with injected versions of this manifold.

Its image still bruised by driver complaints about unintended acceleration, Toyota Division has decided to revamp its marketing message and shift the focus to safety in a big way, top executives said last week. Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A.'s sales fell 34 percent in August and are down 1 percent for the year--it's the only major manufacturer with a decline for 2010. Executives admit consumers have doubts about the safety and quality of Toyota vehicles, so they are planning an advertising blitz to counter that perception.

The new car will be called the Pulsar, and comes eight years after the final UK-bound Almera hatchback was sold. Nissan will be hoping that the dour reputation of that car will be left long behind, and on the basis of its latest models like the new Qashqai, things are looking good.

White House pushes for Friday deal on fuel-economy regulations

The White House wants to announce as early as Friday that it has reached agreement with most automakers on a plan to raise corporate average fuel economy targets to 54.5 mpg by 2025, manufacturers' representatives said Wednesday. While no automakers have signed on to the Obama administration plan yet, most--including Ford, Toyota, General Motors and Chrysler--are generally supportive and intend to do so, the industry officials said. Each manufacturer is trying to iron out technical issues with the White House before endorsing the proposal.
