This is a Delco starter that I have rebuilt. I have over 34 years experience in high quality custom rebuilding starters, alternators and generators.

This is Delco Remy #1107627, date 4 J 16.

This starter fits all 55' and 56' Chevrolet passenger cars 8 cyl. this is the same starter as 1107640-45-49.

This also fits 55' - 56' Chevrolet trucks 8 cyl. 265 starter  # 1107627.

It has a new drive ( Bendix), brushes, bushings and brush springs, the solenoid has been cleaned and tested, it is Delco part number 1119789 and has the Delco logo on the cap.

The armature has been turned, undercut and tested on a growler for shorts. Field coils have been cleaned and tested. 

It is 12 volt.

I load test all starters and this works great.

The new Bentley finally broke cover--and was named--on Sunday at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The car is called the Mulsanne and will arrive next year as a 2011 model. The name was last used on a sporty Bentley from the 1980s until 1992.

THE AA has unearthed a collection of bizarre European driving rules that could catch unwary drivers out this summer. Believe it or not, you're not allowed to drive a dirty car in Belarus, Romania and even parts of Russia. In Portugal it's illegal to carry bicycles on the back of a car, and for some unknown reason it's forbidden in Estonia to overtake a tram that has stopped to pick up passengers.
