:

Rag Joint for use on 605 power steering conversions,1955-1957 chevy .

This rag joint is the one you want for a 55-57 conversion, it does not have the round tube on the Steering wheel side , There is not enough room between the column and the steering box for the tube.

Rag joint will fit 3/4" dia steering shafts with Flats opposite each other- see Pictures, where the shafts are smooth not Splined, may also work on other 605 conversions where the shaft is 3/4 dia. You can bolt it in or weld it to the steering shaft, I recommend bolting it.

The Spline end is 30 spline 3/4 dia to fit the steering box  shaft, the other end is a double D shape to fit the steering wheel shaft.

These Rag joints are not new, They are in great shape.
