This is an original single electric window switch for a 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet passenger cars with front and rear power windows. It is also correct for 56 57 58 59 60 61 and 62 Corvette passenger side window. This switch would be located at any window other than the driver's door. The switch has been tested and works properly. The button activates in both the up and down positions and returns to center freely. The chrome bezel does have some minor scratches and pitting, but looks pretty good for a 60 year old piece. Threat to rural road maintenance
Thu, 06 Feb 2014TOTAL ROAD CLOSURES may be necessary as the extreme winter weather has left councils struggling to maintain routes, according to a local government chief. One council - Cornwall - said it was being "starved of resources" and was considering stopping maintenance of rural roads. But the Department for Transport said billions of pounds were being provided for local highways maintenance and it was the responsibility of authorities to cope with severe weather.
