These are two cast steel rear leaf spring mount brackets carefully removed from a 1957 Chevrolet passenger car frame. This is the type that are designed to be welded on. They will work on a 56 Chevy frame too since they have the wider shackle at the top end like both 56's and 57's have. They will only work on a '55 if you also change the shackle to a 56-57 part with the wider top. Please verify that these will fit your application before bidding.

New car sales accelerate again

Latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show there were 176,820 new vehicles registered in April - an 8.2% rise on the same month last year.
