These clips are exact duplicates of the original ones that GM installed including the correct bends and color. These clips secure the flexible rubber hose to the front spindle brackets and the rubber flex hose at the rear end of vehicle. Update: Aptera denies that these videos are in response to the closing of the brand, as previously reported, and states that they were filmed in May destroying prototypes that were bound for the crusher anyway. Automotive startup Aptera Motors closed its doors on Dec. 2 after it ran out of money.

Chris Bangle is to consult with Changan Automobile to help develop its design strategy and processes in his first official automotive project since leaving BMW in 2009. Bangle – through his company Chris Bangle Associates (CBA) – will work with Changan's team in its European design center in Turin, Italy, reporting to design director Chen Zheng. And while his role will be linked to the brand's Chinese products, his focus will be on the design team's methodologies and philosophy; its management and its process of critique, rather than the hands-on design of its products.

2014 Honda Civic LX recalled over tire issue

Honda is recalling 9,816 Civic LX sedans and coupes from the 2014 model year due to a potential tire issue. The problem concerns the mounting of the tires -- Honda believes the tire bead may have gotten pinched between the assembly equipment and the steel wheel rims, which in turn may have caused damage to the tire. This problem could potentially cause the tire to lose air, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
