This second, exterior design phase of the competition – which can be found at www.cardesigncontest.com – follows on from the previous interiors design phase and again challenges students to design against briefs set by each of GM's four brands. Subaru XV Black Limited Edition: Costs from £24,495
Tue, 22 Oct 2013The Subaru XV Black Limited Edition Subaru launched their XV SUV – basically a high-riding Crossover Impreza – back in 2012, and it was a decent offering. But by this summer they were looking to add a bit more fizz to sales and decided there was room to make substantial cuts in the list price of the XV, taking it down by a significant £2300 right across the range. Now, with prices cut back and the XV starting from £18,995, it seems Subaru has decided it’s time to shift some more expensive metal, so we’ve got the Subaru XV Black Limited Edition which adds more kit and style and starts at £24,495.
Autoweek, Hagerty preview Barrett-Jackson
Thu, 17 Jan 2013Barrett-Jackson isn’t just about American muscle cars. In the video above, our own associate editor and newly minted K-car owner, Graham “Kozy” Kozak joins with Hagerty’s classic-car experts, Dave Kinney and Rob Sass, to check out a selection of cars that will soon be under the bright lights of the Barrett-Jackson auction block. Watch as Kozak tries to keep his cool while ogling a Crosley and then totally disses a fakey-doo flaubach.
