Up for sale are some spare tire carrier parts removed from a 1956 Willys 4wd Wagon.

All included parts shown will need refinishing due to bad paint and minor surface rust.
Lower stand has been cut from the body and in good condition yet
Includes some mounting hardware, round hold down plate and bolt stop (missing the hold down bracket itself)

Although this was removed from a 1956 Willys Wagon, it will likely interchange with other Willys station wagon models throughout the years so please check your specific application before bidding to be sure they are correct for you.

Mount set-up will ship via Fed Ex Ground within the continental 48 state USA so a physical address is required, no P.O. boxes please.

Just in the month of June of this year, almost 9,000 plug-in electric vehicles have been sold in the U.S. This adds to more than 110,000 plug-in electric vehicles that have been sold in this country in the last two and a half years, the Electrification Coalition reports.

Redesigned Ford Focus expected to get 40 mpg highway

The redesigned 2012 Ford Focus will get an estimated 40 mpg in highway driving with an all-aluminum 2.0-liter engine mated to a six-speed, dual dry-clutch automatic transmission. The normally aspirated engine combines variable camshaft timing and high-pressure direct fuel injection to crank out 160 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque. That compares with 140 hp and 136 lb-ft from the aluminum 2.0-liter engine used in the current-generation Focus.

McLaren P1 Concept is 97% production design (video)

At a private reveal of the new McLaren P1 Supercar in New York, McLaren has confirmed that 97 per cent of the P1′s styling will remain. McLaren has said that 97 per cent of the styling of the P1 Concept is exactly as the production version will look, with the only changes being some vents in the bumper to let hot air out and a tighter mesh on the grill at the back. The fac t that the P1 will stay faithful to the concept’s design already seemed evident after we had spy photos of the P1 visiting a McLaren supplier in Norfolk recently (and spy video of the P1 too), where we struggled to find anything different from the concept cars.
