Condition:Used

Up for sale is a rear upper split window liftgate hatch assembly removed from a 1956 Willys Wagon.

  • Outer face is very straight with no major dents. Looks to have been repainted at one time, but I don't see or feel any body filler in it.
  • Inside face has dings and minor dents, mostly towards the top hinge side.
  • Mount area for arms has cracks on both sides (see last picture)
  • Top edge has rust through and a couple pin holes from pitting (see pictures)
  • Bottom edge is pretty straight and not bent up but is pitted with a couple rust holes.
  • Hinge half looks good yet with only surface rust, not bent up or damaged.
  • Latch mechanism is all there yet (do not have the strikes)
  • Passenger side glass is broken
  • Driver side glass has no cracks or chips but does have some scratches. Inscription reads: E-Z-EYE  SAFETY  LOF  SHEET  AS-2-EZ
  • All glass gaskets have cracks, gaps and probably should be replaced.

Due to weight and size I’ll be shipping via Fed Ex Ground ONLY within the continental USA, NO oversea or international shipping. A physical address is required, no PO boxes. Handles will be disassembled to make packaging easier.

Although this was removed from a 1956 Willys Wagon, it will likely interchange with other Willys station wagon models throughout the years so please check your specific application before bidding to be sure it is correct for you.

  • 5.5% Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to Wisconsin residences

 

Shipping Terms

  • Items are generally processed and shipped United States Postal Service (USPS) or Fed Ex Ground within 24 hours of cleared payment being received.
  • Multiple purchases will be combined when possible to save on shipping costs. Please wait for a combined invoice when more than one item is purchased prior to making payments. 
  • Winning bidder / buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless stated otherwise. If shipping charges are required, I only charge what they charge me, NO hidden packaging or handling fees.
  • Tracking numbers are included with all shipments and will be uploaded to Ebay as soon as the item ships. If the tracking info is missing please contact me right away and I'll look into it ASAP
  • If an item is damaged during shipment please contact me right away to work on a resolution

First tattooed car revealed

THE WORLD'S FIRST tattooed car has been revealed at the Gumball 3000 Rally and its a very rare Gumpert Apollo supercar. A unique Japanese design has been chosen as the tattoo for the 200mph Gumpert and has been applied to the car by world renowned tattoo artist Aleksy Marcinow. The £370,000 supercar will go on display in the London Motor Museum after its appearance at the Gumball 300 Rally.

The 2011 BMW 6-Series Coupe is revealed Having turned new car release convention on its head by revealing the 2011 BMW 6 Series Convertible first, BMW has now decided they ought to make the BMW 6 Series Coupe official ahead of its debut at the Shanghai Motor Show next month. And, as expected,we get pretty much what we got at the Paris Motor Show where BMW were calling this the 6-Series Coupe Concept – a tin-top version of the 6-Series Convertible. The lines of the 2011 6-Series (as always, make that 2012 BMW 6 Series across the Pond) are less jarring than the last model.

Last night before CES opened here in Las Vegas we met the principals of a start-up company called Driver Cloud. They said they had an idea about using the cloud to operate a package delivery service the same way other sites do ride sharing – you'd send out a notice on their network that you needed a package delivered and a bonded, licensed Driver Cloud truck owner would deliver it for you for a fee. The service, called Gofr, would work in conjunction with Driver Cloud's ride sharing component, called Chofr.
