NOS bumper guards from Gem Manufacturing. They are in the original box and look to be new but since the box was opened when I received it I am going to call them used. There are a flew blemishes on them from being moved around for so many years. Please check pictures and use the zoom feature to look at the areas.

These fit a range of cars from 1957-1963 and a list is in one of the pics.

Ships to US 48 only unless contacted first about shipping charges.

Unless otherwise noted all of my items are bought second hand. They come from garage sales, auctions and anywhere I can find a great product to pass along. I do not know the history of the product before I get it. I try to describe all things to the best of my ability. I am not an expert on most of the things I sell and I try to describe to the best of my knowledge. Please check pics closely. I take a lot so you can really see what you are getting. My idea of condition may not be yours.

I DO plug in and test all electrical things and try to show working in the pictures but I can not guarantee these things will work when they get to you so I will not refund for anything electrical. We all know the are going to quit working at some point but I can promise they worked when I tested unless stated as not working.

I use calculated shipping thru EBAY as I only charge actual shipping. Sometimes it maybe cheaper if you are far away to send in a flat rate box. If you are interested and you are in the western USA please ask me if this is possible before the sale ends. I can invoice you after sale if a flat box is possible

New Kia Magentis / Kia Optima (2011) revealed

Sun, 14 Mar 2010

Kia will reveal the 2011 Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show in April Hot on the heels of the sketches we saw of the 2011 Kia Magentis just before the Geneva Motor Show, we now get a photo of Kia’s take on the Hyundai i40 (well, a CGI anyway). Which does seem a long lead time. We know that Kia intend to show the Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show next month, but we’re not expecting to see the Magentis in showrooms until 2011.

Double Oh My! James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 million

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

Perhaps the single most breathtaking car of the fall auction season, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5--better known as the James Bond car--sold for $4.61 million to Ohio collector Harry Yeaggy on Wednesday at the RM Auctions Automobiles of London sale. The Aston was expected to sell for more than $5 million, and the sale fell a bit short of that, registering a final bid of 2.6 million British pounds, or $4,114,760. Buyer's premiums raise the total sale price to $4.61 million.

Infographic: How much clay do Ford’s design studios use each year?

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

Ford has offered an insight into its clay modeling processes with a series of videos and an infographic that charts the process involved in turning a designer's sketch into a full-size model. The infographic uses data taken from all of Ford's global design studios in 2012 to give an idea of how much clay is used in a year, plus how much paint and di-noc film is used to cover each model. Ford has also released a video that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the firm's clay modeling studio in Merkenich, Germany, including interviews with members of the modeling team.
