Some surface rust on inside and two dings on front painted part
Brand:Chevrolet Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Surface Finish:Black paint

This is a used ash tray taken out of a 1957 Chevy 4 door Bel-Air Sedan.  This will fit all the '57 Chevy 4 doors (both sedan (post) and hardtop (no post) as well as 4 door wagons).  The 2 door models did not have this ash tray.  This would fit inside the ash tray holder of a '55 or '56 Chevy, but it isn't correct for those two years because the design on the front of the ash tray is a '57 year model only design.  This ash tray goes inside the ash tray holder on the back side of the front bench seat in a 4 door and was the ash tray for the rear seat passengers.  This ash tray has some surface rust inside it, but no rust through.  There are also two dings on the front - see picture #2.  But those could be repaired before re-painting it to match the interior trim color (the ash tray got painted the same color as the metal trim around the windows on the inside of the car).  Please contact me if you have any questions and thanks for looking.

Porsche Macan to get a bolder look before launch

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The Porsche Macan – the baby Cayenne – is to get a new, bold look before it launches in 2014, to make it better able to compete against the Range Rover Evoque. The Porsche Macan, Porsche’s baby Cayenne based on the underpinnings of the Audi Q5, is a big deal for Porsche. Having discovered that an SUV could revive their fortunes after they launched the Cayenne a decade ago, the smaller, lower-priced Macan should give both Porsche’s sales and profits a big boost.
