 57 CHEVY Heater Blower Motor, Fan and Core Housing. Original Equipment.

Colder weather is right around the corner...

 This is a 'Standard' or 'Recirculating' unit removed from a 1957 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery. Markings on housing state "HARRISON 11 56". Condition as shown in pics. There is some surface rust and dings. Has been moved around in storage since 1976, so the actual possible lifetime usage can be no more than 19 years. Hooked it up to a 12volt  lawn tractor battery and ran it about 1 minute.  Appears to be OK (video is available on request). Motor spins freely when turned on, stops quickly when turned off.

The Malaysian owners of Lotus have taken the unusual step of quashing rumours circulating of an impending sale of its British sports car division. Several newspaper articles have suggested that the new owners of Proton may divest its loss-making Lotus subsidiary. The ownership structure of Proton has changed in recent weeks, after the Khazanah Nasional Berhad sold its entire stake in Proton to DRB-Hicom.

Button issues Triathlon challenge

Formula 1 star Jenson Button is challenging his McLaren team-mates to down tools and race him - in the annual triathlon he organises. The 2009 world champion driver is signing up his mechanics to take part in the challenge being staged in July for the third year. Button is a keen athlete who has taken part in a number of triathlons over the years.

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 16 June 2009 11:00 American car giant General Motors has signed a memorandum of understanding for the purchase of Saab by an investment group led by Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg. That's the deal. Supercar maker Koenigsegg Automotive, together with a consortium of private investors, has formed Koenigsegg Group, which has reached a ‘tentative agreement’ to buy Saab from GM.
