57 Dodge Royal Cornet Custom Royal Am Radio - Plays Well on 2040-parts.com
Vancouver, Washington, United States
From a wrecking yard that closed in the late 1960's or early 1970's comes this AM radio for 1957 Dodge Cornet, Royal and Custom Royal. Radio was stored in a dry storage unit for decades. Has nice cosmetics but there is some minor pitting at the bottom of the Lucite faceplate. We cleaned the radio some and then tested it a couple times on different days and different stations and this radio plays loud and clear, even on a cheapy 4" test speaker. Knobs and bezels are nice and believed year correct. Wires are cut but plenty remains for a splice. Radio is Mopar model 845.

Research from Kwik Fit reveals nine percent of drivers admitting they were not aware that an MoT certificate was a legal requirement for cars over three years old. The study also highlighted ignorance with regards to other motoring obligations, with nine percent of drivers admitting they didn’t realise car insurance was compulsory and 10 percent saying the same about a valid tax disc.
Renault's future performance models
Thu, 24 Apr 2008By Richard Yarrow Motor Industry 24 April 2008 10:20 There has never been a hot version of the Laguna from Renaultsport – the performance arm of the French car maker – and our advice is don’t hold your breath for one any time soon. With the MkIII Laguna launched last year, the timing would be perfect for the debut of a flagship model on the home turf of the Paris motor show in October 2008. But Patrick Pelata, Renault’s director of product planning, told CAR Online the quality of other super-saloons coupled with environmental concerns meant it wasn’t likely.
