 572ci rotating assembly for a Chrysler Hemi, 4.50" X 4.50". The crankshaft is a Bryant billet 4.50" stroke with BBC rod journals and includes a 4spd pilot bearing. The rods are Oliver 7.10" Billet steel rods. The pistons are Diamond billet with 11:1 compression with 168cc chambers and .040" head gaskets. The rod and main bearings are Calico coated bearings. I had this rotating assembly mocked in my block before I found an issue with the block. I never got back to this project.

The new Skoda Fabia (pictured) has been revealed The new Skoda Fabia tease started in July and now, ahead of a reveal at the Paris Motor Show in October, Skoda has taken the wraps off the new Fabia. The new Fabia is based on the new VW Polo and grows by a substantial 90mm in width – with all the additional interior elbow room that offers – and drops by 30mm in height, both of which conspire to make the new Fabia look wider, lower and more purposeful. With influences from the Vision C Concept, the new Fabia gets a contoured bonnet and a grill edged in chrome, wide-set fogs, a heightened waistline for added length and a set of angular headlights.

Unveiled today, the new Meriva mini-MPV premieres GM’s FlexDoor technology, designed to make it easier to climb in and out. Or just show off in the car park (delete according to your personal scepticism).Although available on one side of the Mini Clubman, the Meriva promises to democratise the suicide door, with prices from around £14,000 when UK sales start in June 2010.The rear-hinged back doors open to nearly 90deg and are claimed to help ease access to the Meriva – a promise we’ll check out when we sit in it at the 2010 Geneva motor show.
